Songwon University was founded upon the philosophy: "We have to foster skilled professionals who not only can contribute to the development of the society but also have the attributes of democratic citizens".
In order to equip the students with ability to make a great contribution to the society, our university will intend to do our best for the education of the intelligent, pragmatic and initiative spirit to the students

Songwon university would like to enforce a regional role for our regional society. The success and failure of a University may depend upon its contributions to regional society. For this reason, I will make every effort to enforce the cooperation between the government and our university as well as regional businesses.
So far Songwon University has achieved outstanding progress. Now, in order to meet the requirements of the times that the University is faced with, we will do our utmost to become a responsible educational institution in compliance with our foundation philosophy.
